Boundary Review

Ansty & Staplefield Parish Council is taking part in the final stage of the Community Governance Review (CGR), which affects residents in the Rocky Lane North and South areas. We’re encouraging everyone in the parish to take a moment to respond.

 

1. What's happening?

Mid Sussex District Council is reviewing parish boundaries. One proposal suggests moving the Rocky Lane North and South areas from Ansty & Staplefield Parish to Haywards Heath Town Council.

We are now in the second and final round of public consultation, and the current recommendation is for both Rocky Lane wards to remain within Ansty & Staplefield Parish.

The District Council will make its final decision once this consultation closes, so it’s important that all residents share their views, even if they already took part in the first round.

 

2. Who can respond?

Everyone in the parish can and should comment, not just those living in Rocky Lane. Mid Sussex District Council wants to hear from as many residents as possible, whatever their view.

Even though the current recommendation is for the Rocky Lane wards to remain with Ansty & Staplefield Parish Council, it is still vital that residents continue to voice their opinions and confirm support during this final consultation.

The deadline to submit comments is 14 November, and all residents are encouraged to have their say before the consultation closes.

 

3. How to respond

You can share your comments and read all supporting documents using the link below:

  2. Scroll down and click the Final Consultation Response Form - Mid Sussex District Council
  3. This will open the online response form, now click Start and complete the form to submit your views.
