Welcome to the website for Ansty and Staplefield Parish Council.

Ansty and Staplefield Parish council is responsible for an area of West Sussex that runs from the north west side of Burgess Hill towards Handcross.

It covers the settlements of Ansty, Staplefield and Brook Street. Cuckfield Parish Council covers the village of Cuckfield.

The parish has just over 900 residents on the register of electors.

Better Broadband

A23 Widening Scheme 
Work on widening the A23 Trunk Road between Handcross and Warninglid, south of Crawley, in West Sussex started in October 2011.  The Parish Council have planned regular meetings with the Highways Agency to monitor the impact of this scheme and planned road closures on the parish.  You can find out more about this scheme on the Highways Agency websitehttp://www.highways.gov.uk/roads/projects/3998.aspx

The Parish Council has agreed to freeze the precept at £44.79 per Band D household for the next financial year. 2012/2013
