Borde Hill Lane Temporary Closure

Temporary closure of Borde Hill Lane, Ardingly CP, 17th September 2025.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that from the date specified below, West Sussex County Council has temporarily closed to all traffic, Borde Hill Lane, Ardingly CP, in the Mid Sussex District under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, on Borde Hill Lane for a distance approx 2542 metres.

The temporary closure is scheduled to commence on 17th September 2025 for up to 5 days (it is estimated to be completed on 19th September 2025) and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while West Sussex County Council undertake daytime road closures for the removal of Ash Dieback trees.

Road closed between the junctions with Copyhold Lane and Shell Lane.

The restriction will be in place day-time only from 09:30 until 15:30

Access maintained for emergency services, residents and pedestrians.
