NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that from the date specified below, West Sussex County Council has temporarily closed to all traffic, Bolney Road, Ansty and Staplefield CP, in the Mid Sussex District under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, on Bolney Road for a distance approx 294 metres.
The temporary closure is scheduled to commence on 9th November 2026 for up to 5 days (it is estimated to be completed on 10th November 2026) and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while West Sussex County Council undertakes a Night time road closure required to allow for removal of dead dying and dangerous trees from roadside edge. Road closed from Butlers Farm to junction with Pickwell Lane.
The restriction will be in place overnight only from 20:00 until 06:00
