National Highways - M23

National HIghways have sent this information over this morning regarding closures on the M23.

We’ve added some more dates in September for overnight closures 8pm to 6am with some southbound closures starting at 10pm, on the M23 between junctions 10a and 11, please see below.

• Tuesday 9 September for two nights both directions (southbound closure will start at 10pm)
• Thursday 11 September for one night southbound (closure will start at 10pm)
• Friday 12 September for one night northbound (closure will start at 8pm)
• Monday 15 September for two nights northbound (closure will start at 8pm)
• Wednesday 17 September for one night both directions (southbound closure will start at 10pm)
• Saturday 20 September 8pm to 6am (southbound carriageway junction 10a to 11)

We still have our planned closure in October:

• Saturday 4 October 8pm to 6am for two nights (northbound carriageway junction 11 to 10a)
• Saturday 4 October 8pm to 6am Monday 6 October (southbound carriageway junction 10a to 11) EXTENDED CLOSURE
• Monday 20 October 8pm to 6am for two nights (northbound carriageway junction 11 to 10a)
• Wednesday 22 October 8pm to 6am for two nights (southbound carriageway junction 10a to 11)

Diversions

For the southbound diversion:

• exit at junction 10
• get onto the A2011 Crawley Avenue
• onto Brighton Road
• rejoin at Junction 11

For the northbound diversion, use the same as above but in reverse order.
